Hi Jackie

Let me know how you get on!
Not particularly - I would just give him a bath then a good spray with Frontline.

Has he been in water? If he went in water sooner than 48 hours after you sprayed him the Frontline will not have had time to work.

Hi Jackie

I wouldnt recommend it either - I was just wondering about the fluffy coat! Their coats do change when neutered.

Hello Jacqui,
We haven't had Chip neutered - we haven't felt the need to have this done yet, we haven't had any problems with him to jjustify himbeing neutered.

Hi Jackie

I am glad you had a good break!

For the fireworks - the best thing you can do is ignore him the more fuss you make the more you are reinforcing the behaviour.and play the CD I sent you quite loudly while you are going about your normal daily business.

As for pulling - you can either persisit on the changing direction everytime he steps further head and causes tension in the lead - which is my prefered method and does work again it is just lots of practice and time and patience, OR you could use a head collar, I have been known to use them when taking the pack out together but only becuase when you take a whole pack out they are continually trying to get in front of one another, which is most difficult as I have the pushchair and Molly too!!! Have you used a flexi -lead? These do make pulling worse IMO.

He should enjoy to be brushed and he will always have slightly lighter bits where the sun catches his coat - have you had him neutered?

The tail is a good sign - as you know we currently only have Lottie with a tail and she is always wagging hers and apart from the odd occasion of catching it on the door frames we have not had any major injuries either!

I will put a post on the forum about pulling and see what everyone else suggests for you too.

Jacqui
