Hearing Dogs for Deaf People 

 

Our calendars have been a huge success and all profits are going to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

We are about to order our 3rd batch, thank you to everyone who has supported us in raising funds for this worthy cause.

Ragley Hall Game Fair 2009

Warwickshire, 22nd - 23rd August 

Well the weather was fantastic and our boys did us proud and Scurried their little socks off!

Fidget had a play with one of his son's and we met some new friends who came along to see what we all get up too.

One of Fern's puppies (Risingmist Opal, 19/02/2009) has been featured in the August & September 2009 issue of 'Dogs Today'.  Although Abi has made print I know all our puppy's new families are delighted with their 'perfect'  puppies.

CLA Game Fair, Belvoir Castle,

Leicestershire, 24th - 26th July 2009 

 A great day was had by all, we did a few scurries, a bit of shopping and had Lottie and Tonka's Annual Eye Tests done.

 I am pleased to say they were both all clear.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

 

Those of you who know us personally, will know, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People are a charity which we hope to donate a puppy to.

Antony Sabin, aged 85 and his hearing dog Branson are taking the Shakespear's Way Challenge.  They aim to raise £35,000 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and for funds towards a new loop system at the Royal Shakespear Theatre.

The route over country footpaths, similar to that walked by William Shakespear, covers 146 miles between Stratford upon Avon and The Globe Theatre in London.

We have been bitten by the bug!  So as a family we will be 'walking' the 2nd annual Guide Dog Fun Run on 18th July 2009, with Lottie & Fidget.

We did it, dogs too, despite none of us feeling 100% and little Molly who everyone must remember is only 4 walked the whole 5km not even one piggy back!  We were some what celebrities on the day as we were the only family with dogs that took part, in total the event raised £20,000 for Guide Dogs for the Blind - so a huge Thank You to everyone who sponsored us.

Jacqui and Lottie, with a few friends from the Warwickshire Flyball Club will be 'walking' the Race for Life at Stratford upon Avon race course on Sunday 5th July 2009.
